...Concordia is excellent. It's quiet, with large tables (to spread out) & free parking.

I was told IVC was no bueno. The guy that tested there said there were small desks (although I'm not sure if IVC has people testing in the same room/building each time they host an lsat-but why risk it, no?). The consensus, I think, is that we want to be testing at either a law school or a private school.

Seriously its like 3 threads below this.

That thing doesn't seem to hold up in orange county. UCI doesn't proctor the test (for now), and Concordia isn't listed on the site.

Western University College of Law or whatever in Fullerton is a good site.

Took it at Western (the Fullerton one) my first time and it's a fantastic location.

+ Big tables
+ Give you water/snacks at break (I noticed them counseling the criers as well)
+ Free/easy parking
+ Right off the freeway
+ Starbucks two blocks down

Only negative:
- Western takes themselves VERY SERIOUSLY. It kinda felt like I was going into a gas chamber when I took it there. Very tense. The proctors were very stern. But overall, I highly recommend.

I recently took my retake at Rio Hondo (in Whittier) and this place was also great. I know it seems kinda far but honestly, on a Saturday morning it's right off the 605 and is a breeze to get to.

+ Small classrooms (20 per) so they start as soon as a room fills up. I started my test around 8am, which was great because I was already anxious.
+ On site coffee shop
+ Huge bathrooms, and they are everywhere.
+ Very relaxed staff and proctors (especially versus Western)

- Gotta pay $2 for parking
- Individual desks (they are still bigger, much bigger than the baby desks I had throughout my ugrad at UCLA, but still not as enormous as Western)

I would actually go back to Rio Hondo again if I had to choose. It felt better. It's a really peaceful campus. It's surrounded by trees on a hill. The staff was very calming and it was very low-key and a stress free environment.

Whittier Law School (which, paradoxically, is in Costa Mesa Orange County, not in the city of Whittier that is in Los Angeles) is a great facility to take the test at. I've taught LSAT classes there many times. The rooms are nice with the big all across each aisle counter top desks, great lighting, comfortable chairs, parking is free, is a stones throw from the freeway on ramp/off ramp, and the parking lot is right next to the building so it takes at most one minute to walk from your car to the building if you are walking really slow or even crawling so there is no chance of getting lost trying to find the correct building.

Western State Law School in Fullerton is also a great facility to take the test at. Same thing with the big long from one end of the aisle to the other very wide desktops. Parking is right next to the building, no chance of getting lost on campus, etc. I took the test there when I got my 177 so there is a lucky chair in a particular room! and I've taught LSAT classes there many times. Zero problems, zero complaints.

Go with whichever of those two places you can get that is closer to where you live.

OP: Do not call it The OC. I'm born, raised and living in Orange County. It drives me and other locals nutz when people refer to the county that way, plus that lame TV show called 'The OC' was cancelled a long time ago because it totally sucked, plus it was filmed in Los Angeles, not Orange County and that pissed us locals off even more!

Good testing site. Tables are large and well spaced out. The lighting was just right as well.
