As neurotic as this sounds, is anyone changing test centers for their retake? I am seriously considering driving 45-60 minutes to a new test center just for the desk space. I took the test at a center with half desks which only had enough room for one half of the test booklet on it at a time. Which seriously messed me up on LG and was just unpleasant for the test in every other regard.

This is my first post on TLS, but I'd like to begin by saying THANKS. I've been a nervous wreck since I walked out of the Oct 2012 test thinking, "did that just !happen?" and the hurricane/resulting score delay did not improve my deep sense of unease. Yes, for a while there I thought I was going a little crazy.

Turns out I'm not crazy and I did not hallucinate the pitiful 3 digit number that showed up on my computer screen. I was consistently scoring a 170+ on my most recent PTs (59-66) so even though I didn't exactly feel like I rocked October, I still thought my score would be higher than the 160 I got. (!!!) I had that wretched RC section first, and kept thinking about how I messed it up during the next 4 sections. I've heard of that happening and now I've lived it. No bueno.

After allowing myself to wallow for a few hours, I found this thread. I am now officially getting it together to decimate December. 29 days and counting. Must get those nerves under control.

Hey friend, I feel your pain.

I had a similar experience where my first section was an experimental (LR) and I got rocked...was thinking about that the entire test. Also, I got my ass !Zoned and guessed completely wrong on every zone question. Not my finest hour...I bet you feel the same.

Welcome aboard and we're gonna !Zone the fuck outta December. Keep your chin up...that goes for all of you.

Great chat tonight during Late Night Crew. For those who scored high but are retaking, don't feel guilty...you aren't cocky, you're just focusing on the stuff you left on the table, things you should've done better in test/prep...and that hurts at any level.

For me...I took October '12 feeling like 1 more month would be useless, I did all I could. But now I realize, in my fervor to log 71 high scoring PT's...I neglected good review of my correct answers. Getting good at these, or even a different perspective leads to improvement on the next test/real thing. Not taking anything for granted this time, lets go!!

They are seriously going to make us wait until January 4th, 2013 for December Scores? Is this typical for December administrations?

I'm switching centers, taking it 45 min away. I had a similar desk situation and took the test in a room of 300 people. The center I've registered to take the test at in December is a small college and the test is given in a room with tables. Not expecting nearly quite as many people to be there either.

I'm all in for round two and ready to rumble. Feb 2013 here I come. I feel like December would be a waste of $160 for me.

Where's this info coming from? I thought this release was just delayed by Sandy.

Yes. The last time they had a Jan 4 release date, though, it came out on December 28. But it only came out two days early last year, so anything goes.

Hi everyone,

Also not happy with my score. Will be retaking. Need some tips/help for study planning. What are you doing? I was PTing in my target score beforehand. I would like to increase confidence and speed with games this month as well as focus on reading - not exactly sure where to start though. This is all so overwhelming, I did not think I would have to retake. :(

LG is the easiest to improve on. But work on everything and CRUSH this test. That's my gameplan

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
