Final PT before test and it goes really really bad

Just got a 165 on my final PT (#65). I've been averaging around 170 and am really concerned. Is there anything to do at this point other than review and brush it off? I'm usually -0/1 on LG and -2/-3 on LR. Not in a good mood right now.

LR1 : -6
LG : -3
RC: -7
LR2: -4

Raw Score: 81/101

Don't worry! I took June 2011 two days ago and was 5 points below my average at 166. Yesterday took June 2012 and ended up with a 172. One bad test doesn't matter, it's just nerves... I know it doesn't feel good, but try to brush it off and good luck! :)

I wouldn't worry. I was in the same situation as you and I scored several points higher on the actual test. Don't let one PT psych you out.

Just keep in mind that the score you got on that test doesn't have any impact on how you'll do on the real thing. If anything, reviewing that test makes it less likely that you'll make the same mistakes later.

Brush it off, it's better that you score lower and are mad. You don't want to be complacent, you lose focus.

I tend to think that I perform better after a low point because I want vengeance. At least during practice this is the case.

If you can not let it negatively affect your confidence, you're in good shape. Everyone has a bad test. Few people have two bad ones in a row. Learn what you can from the mistakes, and rock it tomorrow.
