Prep 23, Section 2, # 8.
Why would B not be the answer?

Thanks in advance.

The conclusion of the argument is "the viceroy is so seldom preyed on because of its visual resemblance to the monarch." That's what we are trying to undermine.

Answer (B) has nothing to do with viceroys, because the stimulus doesn't say they are toxic. Further, even if (B) were true, it would not undermine the argument above regarding visual resemblance.

(D) undermines the argument because it provides an alternate (better) explanation for why viceroys are seldom preyed upon.
