Strategy this week

So, I've been doing self-prep for the last month or so. I've taken about 15 practice tests and seen my scores climb from my initial area of about 168, to 174. I'm missing about 1 LR per section, and my games vary from 1-4 wrong and my RC are around 3-4 off per section.
My question is how much work I should do this week. I'm taking a prep test each day this weekend, for sure. Should I take a test each day this week? Should I take Friday off?
Also, l have not done any prep for the writing portion. Should I do something about that this week?

Don't masturbate the week before.
Love makes a man weak.
Even if that love is self love.

With 8 days of prep left, I feel like my plan is to just mindlessly do PTs with the hope of improving. Yes, I review them, and yes, timing issues need to be resolved. But I just realized that my studying needs to become a lot more effective this late in the game to jump into the mid 170s from low 170s. I just compiled a list of things I must work on:
Overall:
1. Write test with intense focus and in peak state throughout; don’t get lazy – consider the implications of this test!
2. Be confident and strive for 180 – no mistakes.
3. Do not panic and be calm; correct timing issues (aim for 30-32 min sections).
4. Bubble by page, not by question.
LR:
1. Finish in time to check circled questions (approximately 30 min); complete 1-15 in 15 minutes.
2. Reduce dumb mistakes (especially on early questions); read carefully and critically.
3. Scrutinize two contenders ruthlessly for the only perfect and correct AC.
4. Refine/re-study strategy for question types: strengthen, weaken, parallel reasoning, justify/SA, MSS.
LG:
1. Use more organized diagrams.
2. Look for limited options and big inferences (overlapping rules, space restrictions, denote floaters, number combinations).
3. Correct timing and panic issues.
4. Reduce stupid mistakes (separate long ACs, double check answers, read rules and questions carefully, emphasize evasive rules).
RC:
1. Correct timing and panic issues; finish each passage in 8:45 MAXIMUM.
2. Annotate less but read critically and actively (look for tone, viewpoints, evidence, dates, authors, argumentative structure, lists etc.).
3. Scrutinize contending ACs ruthlessly for the only perfect and correct answer.

Drill games.
Games is the section where you make up for lost points in the other sections - ideally it should be an automatic -0. Hope they don't throw us some crazy ass hybrid, though.

This.
Also, I am not doing any RC before the test unless it is in a PT. What am I going to learn that will help me on RC this late in the game. Focusing on games games games and specific trouble LR question types.

I recommend doing what you've been doing. Personally I think Dave Hall gave some of the best advice on approaching the final week before the LSAT, which is just to make it rote. Even on test day, make it rote. Don't change things up just because it's the last week.
By now, hopefully you've found a groove into how much of a workload you can handle, how much is too much, and how much isn't enough. Stick with whatever has been working for you so far.

Nope, not yet. I hear that one is a bitch too though. In all honesty, I didn't miss any on the mauve dinosaur. It just took up so much of my time that if I ran into one like that on game day, I might freak out.

I printed out several copies of Stained Glass and Mauve Dinos and I did them several times over. It's done wonders for me!! I recommend this, even if you didn't get a lot wrong, it really helps you speed up in these types of problems. I plan to print them out and do those Saturday morning as well as a warm up... (yay for PDF PTs from Velocity! I can just keep printing them out)
