So, the ticket says to be there no later than 8:30. I will of course get there well before, but what time is the test actually going to be administered? I'm trying to fully adjust my sleep schedule and take tests around the actual time of the test from now until next Friday.

It varies by test center. I took the LSAT 7 years ago at Georgetown Law Center and it took about 30 minutes to get everyone organized and the test started at 9 AM. I took it at Catholic University in December of 2011 and it took 1 hour to organize everyone, 15 minutes to assign people to rooms, 5-10 minutes to walk to the building and get to our rooms so that test started around 10:30 AM.

A good rule of thumb is to be prepared to wait at least 15-30 minutes.
