My Scores Are Shrinking:(

Post by talesofyore » Thu Sep 27, 2012 6:49 am

Has this happened to anyone else? Up to a few weeks ago I'd be consistently hovering around 165 and 168, but now my scores are suddenly shrinking. They dropped to like 161 last week. And now I just finished a PT where I scored the princely amount of 158. I'm hoping it's because I began at 4:30 a.m, which I've never done before. Advice anyone? I'm thinking of postponing, as I was aiming for a 168.

You might just be burning out, take a break for a day or two. I know it's close to test day, but rest is another key factor in doing well. I read somewhere on this site that you should get atleast 8 hours of sleep before a pt, that could be another reason why you did poorly on the last pt.

I was worrying about this a couple weeks ago. The most recent stretch of my PTs went: 173-171-170-169

This was after PTing above 175 for weeks. I got really down on myself, so I decided I needed a reset. I took two days completely off, dived back in and really focused on studying for a week, and got a 180 this past weekend. Don't let short-term patterns throw you too much.

Thanks. I believe I shall take a hiatus until Saturday afternoon.
