I started reviewing the Manhattan LSAT books. Early, the book imposes time limits on the drill sections. My question, for those of you who've studied using the Manhattan books, how much heed did you give to these time limits in your early preparation? Did you find it detrimental (or beneficial) in the beginning to impose time limits on yourself when trying to master the concepts?

I had already studied the LGB when I started the Manhattan book, so I obeyed the time limits at the beginning of the section. They're actually useful, because you do the game again at the end of the chapter and it shows you how much you've improved in your understanding.

I think they are pretty important. For RC/LR you can practice untimed to get down the basic argumentative techniques used down but with LG if you do too many untimed you end up practicing techniques that are not useful for timed conditions.
