Flaw in Reason (ambiguous use...)

Post by HuskyHopeful » Sun Sep 16, 2012 11:25 pm

Having trouble with questions that have ambiguous use of vocabulary as a flaw.

These occur on questions that MOST weaken argument, usually I can find another flaw within the argument and often discount ambiguous vocabulary use as a pertinent flaw. Any tips on how to correct this error?

Any examples? Usually the other stuff doesn't necessarily weaken the argument whereas shift in language or ambiguous language the point of having to consider it is by its very nature a strong flaw. Shift in terms, etc, completely change the meaning of an argument.
