October Test Taker - How am I looking? Forum

Long time reader, new member here. I am planning on taking the October LSAT. Here is where i am at:

Initial Diagnostic: 164
Next PT 167 (2 weeks later) (lg are my week spot, every thing else is -0 to -4)

I am hoping for T25 ideally. 3.8 GPA in Phil & Econ, current Teach for America corp member. Will I make it?

****Also, how close were your LSAT results to your PTs?

You are in very good shape. Don't even worry about it. Focus on killing your LSAT and aim as high as you can (LG is easiest to improve btw). FYI my real score was exactly my PT average for the last ~15 or so tests.

That's a good diagnostic. With your diagnostic, anything under a 170 would be a disappointment. You have a good GPA and once you hit a 173+ you're looking at HYS and $$$ at some of the lower T14s. You're aiming too low on the T25.

I'm a current CM, too...with pretty much the same GPA and diagnostic score. If you didn't post your major(s), I'd think we were one and the same.

I know summer is great and all, but once the school year starts back up (and we're teaching our lovely little chilluns), what sort of study schedule are you planning? I'm thinking I'd like to finish my Blueprint online course at least before August 21 (first teacher workday for me) and take 4-5 PTs a week between then and October 6. But I've been dying to find another TFAer or teacher taking the test in October to see what they're planning to do.
