Are 5 sections handed out all at the very beginning?

Are 5 sections handed out all at the very beginning of the test? If so, can I quickly browse all five sections header within 10 seconds to identify which is the experimental section?
What do LR, LW, LCS, stand for on the biographical page under “Law services use only”?
Thanks

This is a great idea. I'm sure you will get far in your law school career.

its a total free for all. you can work on any section you want. you can even divide labor in the room, in case some people are better at some sections than others. For an extra 6.50, they'll just tell you which is experimental. Or you can use your method for free. totes up to you.

Yes.

You can, but it would be a bad idea. If you attempt to do this, you will almost certainly be written up for misconduct and will never attend a law school, if you even get accepted, worth attending. No need to kiss your legal career goodbye over something so trivial.

How do proctors know whether test takers are only working on the designated sections on the answer sheet?
They can spot people working on other sections. A ton of posts come up on TLS about people being written up for "accidentally" mis-bubbling. They ask how screwed are they, and the answer is very, very screwed.

Not sure. I think it's an internal LSAC designation.

I didn't think this is true. (It wasn't when I took the LSAT, which I guess was like 3 years ago now.)
You could identify a couple sections that definitively
weren't the experimental, but not which one was.

Do not try to preview the sections while they hand the booklets out, if you finish a section early, or during break. It will not improve the score anyone achieves on an official administered LSAT nor peoples admission chances, although it could certainly damage chances of acceptance significantly for anyone that does it and gets caught.
The process with the LSAT doesn't work on a 'graded on a curve' system the way many undergraduate classes/tests are graded. Trying to figure out which one is experimental during the test is simply a waste of mental time and energy that should be used to solely focus on answering as many questions as possible correctly.
Plus, with the way the LSAT is structured and administered to be a fair test, it is virtually, if not almost completely impossible to cheat on to achieve a higher score than a candidate is legitimately capable of achieving on test-day.
The LSAT test day rules are crystal clear and stated officially by LSAC in many places to test takers. You are not allowed to flip to, view or work on any of the other five sections during the 35 minutes allotted for a different section number.
Once time/pencils down is called for a section, that's it, section over. You are not allowed to change or fill in more answer choices on the bubble sheet for a previous section once the 35 minutes for it have expired.
If one gets caught by a proctor (they are there to supervise and make sure everyone follows the same rules so it is fair) flipping around in the test book, looking at, working in a different section or erasing/marking on the answer sheet in a different section column than the time is designated for working on, the test taker will get written up, handed a misconduct report and later have *cough* fun trying to explain the report away in applications to law schools.

Why would you risk this for no benefit? And why is this your first post?

I don't even know how to respond to this.
What sort of reaction did you think you'd get posting a cheating scheme on a board where people study for months to do their best? Idiot.

The pages are thin enough that you can tell what section is coming next without turning to it.
That is about the extent of what you should do unless you are a dumbass.

I wouldn't risk much. I always look through the page to see the next section, and to be honest, I could see changing an answer in a previous section on the answer sheet without much difficulty during the next section, although it's not allowed, and likely not very helpful either.
