People who score less than 150 do not care much about going to law school, hence why they're not here.

Probably a combination of factors: embarrassment, don't care about studying (and so why come on here?), etc.

I scored below a 150 and have checked this website regularly for the past 6 months. It would have been nice to have known about it before my LSAT and bulk of apps were submitted, but better late than never. Instead worrying about what people behind their computer screen say about my so-called lack of intelligence, I'm using this website to understand life before, during, and
after law school. It will serve as a necessary motivator at orientation, classes, final exams, and the dreaded "roll of the dice" which will be a job search in 3 years.
Before this website, I just assumed that any law school would graduate me and prepare me for a lawyer position. I was ready to move out of state and spend 30k/semester for a so-called "TTTT," but I was accepted to a public university law school (sadly still TTTT, I did get below 150, but LSAC gpa was above average) that is respected by the "common citizen" in my state (but is regarded as a piece of s*** by people on TLS).
I suppose the point of this message is to explain that the majority of law school students/applicants of "limited intelligence" (ie below 150) understand the risks/opportunities of our decision to pursue a JD, and we are willing to work for the grades, networking, etc. which will secure us our desired job after graduation.
I eagerly look forward to your comments - the good and bad, the ugly and funny!

Yeah, not to be a bummer, but it's probably this attitude that keeps people who are scoring below 150s on PTs from posting here even if they care a lot and want to improve. This thread has the potential to get pretty rude and doesn't really seem to be in the spirit of TLS.

I think you'd be surprised by the number of decently smart (not brilliant, of course, but mediocre/average) people who genuinely prepare for the test and still score around 150. It's around the 50th percentile for a reason.

I read that the ABA has eliminated all schools outside of t1 and are sending applicants who score <150 to perform custodial duties at t14s.

There is a forum for those accepted into TTT. They even call the schools TTTs

June waiting conversation has mostly been about drinking and awkward sexual positions, not about bashing other people's scores. Big difference. If you skim June prep, it's full of people being encouraging and congratulating people on their improvement, not "lollol you cant break 160 you must not know how to intartubez"

My laughter was not aimed at anyone in particular. For the record, I do not believe the LSAT is a good measure of intelligence. I happen to believe that a person can be highly intelligent and score poorly on the LSAT for several reasons. (e.g. a person who has never been exposed to certain terminology may be at a distinct disadvantage when taking standardized tests pertaining to reading comprehension). I also am not attempting to insult anyone by finding humor in this specific post. So, please do not take my laughter personally. On a personal note: (To anyone that scored less than they would have liked on the LSAT; do not give up...the LSAT can be mastered!)

thanks for the update, it's great to hear more about your testing experience. please be sure to PM me when you get your score, and update me periodically throughout law school ("torts exam went well, although a guy did sneeze behind me and, startled, i misspelled a word. i quickly corrected the mistake, however.")
