For those on the waiting list and retaking to get off, I just spoke with admissions at a school where I am on the waitlist and they told me they get the scores a full week before we do. I also spoke with admissions at the backup school where I deposited asking if they would consider a higher score for more scholarship $ and they confirmed that they get the scores one week prior to us.

So we can break into the schools to get our LSAT scores early?

If that's your thing, I was thinking of simply asking.

How do they get the scores? Does LSAC just automatically send them the updated score with your application or what?

Did you ask if they're allowed to disclose scores early?

i was told they werent supposed to but they would let me know if I got enough improvement to get off the waitlist before I find out from the LSAC

What's the point of this? This means there's a week when scores are ready and lsac just sits on them? I don't get the strategy there...

Schools have explicitly said in the past that they get the scores when test takers do. There would be too much risk of a rogue school giving students scores and I really doubt LSAC would risk that for no real benefit.

Don't the emails from schools reacting to your LSAT score start coming right around when we get them? This news seems to go against prior experience. However, if true, anyone who applied to Baylor has a good chance of getting his score early.
