Last piece of advice

Post by Manhattan LSAT Noah » Fri Jun 08, 2012 4:27 pm

For the folks about to roll into test day, I wanted to lay out one last piece of advice: Go and get the score you truly deserve.

That means that if you're scoring a 165 on preptests, go and get a 165. Don't try to do any better. Instead, relax into knowing that you should get about 20 questions wrong. So go and get the 20 hardest questions wrong. You're much more likely to do a bit better than usual with that mindset. If you instead go in thinking, well, maybe this time I'll get a 175 even though I never get that (except that one time when I gave myself extra time because...), you're going to lose too much time on impossible questions, still get those wrong, and end up getting some easier questions wrong because you're then in a rush.

I don't wish you luck, I wish you consistency!

We'll review this LSAT soon after the scores are released. If you take it and want to geek out, it's a free workshop.

Other final tips other folks got?
