New LR really that much harder? Or am I just tired?

I do not freakkkkkking understand.

Are the new (50++) LR sections really that much harder than older ones? I usually can go -3 per section, but I just got -7 on PT 52 S1... GAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

If they really are that much harder, i'm effin screwed. If they aren't... maybe I'm just grumpy and need a coooookie...

I noticed an increase in difficulty in general (all sections) for the new tests compared to the older ones. The thing I noticed on the most recent PTs and on my actual LSAT was that the harder LR questions were more scattered throughout the entire section instead of being concentrated near the end.

I haven't noticed the LR increase in difficulty but maybe that's cause I usually own LR. The decrease of difficulty in LG really makes me happy. I have however noticed the RC increase in difficulty.

Haven't LG become (in general) easier?

I just made the switch from the late 40s to the early 50s and noticed myself actually improve in the 50s. (-3ish to -1/-2)

RC is definitely harder in the later tests.

IMO, recent LR questions are written clearer (less wtf moments). Although, I think that the avereage difficulty of the underlying logic is now slighly more sophisticated. In newer PTs, more answer choices seem alike and are more likely to hinge on one or two words.

Luckily, games are now average in difficulty. I think RC now tends to be much more difficult.

I would say so.

I would say so, but I think the increase in RC difficulty more than compensates for the decrease in LG difficulty, making for a more difficult test overall (if that makes any sense whatsoever)

I think it depends. RC is a strength for me and LG used to be a weakness, but on more recent LGs I get -0 so I think it benefits me. I see what you're saying though.

the LR sections on 52 seemed super easy to me. I got one wrong on one section and two wrong on the other. Took me only about 25 minutes to finish each section. Of course the only other prep test i took was 65. So can't really compare to older tests. The RC on 52 seemed difficult as I missed 9.

Somehow i keep narrowing it down to 2 possible answer choices, and pick the incorrect one -____- that happened on about 5/7 i got wrong... Sigh.

Wait until you hit PT 57, just took it today and it killed me. The LR made me want to throw up.

FUUUUUCKKKKK missed 5 on LR PT56. Don't know why I go -1 on some days and -3 on others per section. Why do I misread and make stupid mistakes so damn much, it's frustrating

I hear ya. Scored -1 and -2 respectively on my LR sections yesterday and today I hit -5 and -5.

I was literally depressed for half an hour, because I have been doing similar to you recently (-2/-3 total) and then got owned yesterday and today with -5. What the shit, seriously. Just gotta keep our heads up and not worry about the result as much as learning from then and continuing to improve

Exactly. I also think mentality has a role in the whole thing. When I am in an awesome mood I usually am more focused and score better. Yesterday I was in an awesome mood and my score reflected it. Today I had a meeting with an adviser and I brought in my resume portfolio but when I opened it I found that my roommates put a gay (pc: homosexual) porn magazine in there (we are in the middle of a prank war). Needless to say I was pissed and didn't even feel motivated to take PT 57 at all.

Finger's crossed on June being my only LSAT.

You have some work cut out for you on that next prank...
