Can someone explain to me what the fact test is? I keep seeing it in the LRB and can't seem to find the definition. Thank you.

I totally remember being tripped up by this. There is no explanation of what the 'fact test' is, but they start referring to it in the middle (or maybe even beginning?) of the book. I have a sneaking suspicion it's mentioned in their class.

Read this today, its when an answer choice has a fact in it that the stimulus doesnt.
from the book:
"The correct answer to a Must be True question can always be proven by referring to the facts stated in the stimulus."

TCR
To plainly explain the Fact Test with Must Be True questions, anything you read in the stimulus is considering true and the correct answer choice will coincide with the stimulus information or a combination of ideas contained in the stimulus.
