Taking June LSAT upcoming. I started studying on and off last fall with an initial cold diagnostic of 150. I have increased my studying time to 3 to 4 hours a day since a couple weeks ago. My last 5 prep tests are 167, 162, 161, 162, 162- the last one being June 2007 (I'm including a 5th section as well). I'm averaging -1 LG, -10 LR, -9 RC. With three weeks left (I'm not doing any preptests within 4 or 5 days of the actual test), what are my chances of getting a 165? Any tips for improvement are welcomed as well

Based on your last five prep tests, your chance of scoring 165+ is 1:5... aka "not good"

Seriously though, no one knows. Just keep studying. Good job jumping 10+ points from your diag btw.

How are you studying? Are you still working through some material on LR? If yes, they you can probably shave 5 or so misses off of your LR section which would definitely put you around what you're looking for.

Still working through LR. Sections are hit or miss (e.g. 25/25 and 18/25 in the same test). I have the LR Bible that I need to look through for question types that I struggle with. Also, I have noticed a trend of RARELY getting any of the first 10 questions incorrect for LR (probably 80% of the time). Of course, the questions become harder in the 12-20 range but it's not unusual for me to miss 5 questions from 12-25. Timing is sometimes an issue but I end up having to guess on 1 question at most.

Would you consider waiting till Oct or retaking in Oct?

Yea definitely taking in June, but would retake in oct if necessary. Thanks again for the advice.

Did this book not kill PTs for you? I sectioned off certain tests only for drilling (19-22 and then 33-51) because I was scared that I would ruin PTs for myself by remembering questions...

Fair question. I used the 1st book that uses 1-30 to drill. Then used 29-64 for PTs and sections.
I wouldnt recommend the the cambrige book until after using 29-38 as PTs, since that book is 1-40.
