Do you guys take anything to kill fatigue?

Do any of you guys take/drink anything to kill fatigue before taking practice test? coffee/caffiene pills/energy drinks/adderall/etc?

I usually dont take or drink anything and after the 3rd section my brain is usually just done. I do very well on the sections I complete, but it's usually a struggle to get past the 3rd section. I know people always advocate to just keep taking practice tests to kill the fatigue, but it's kindof hard to kill fatigue by taking multople full length tests when you cant get through one...

I've wanted to try taking adderall beforehand to help focus, but I've heard mixed reviews.

PS i meant to add probably the main reason for my fatigue is that I usually try and take the practice tests after I work 9-5 and my job entails a lot of reading.

I drink coffee everyday, but it's mostly to get me through my 8-5 work. When I'm studying for the LSAT, I usually just drink green tea because its got a bit of caffeine and its healthy.

When I'm stressed out, I'll find that going on a 3-6 mile run will ease my mind and I'll be willing to tackle some more questions before I sleep.

and +1 to whoever mentioned naps

I drink coffee or tea in the morning just because I'm a pretty horrible person to be around without it and if I feel like I'm about to pass out in the middle of the day I'll get a Red Bull or something. Right now I'm only taking practice tests on the weekends when I can sleep as late as I want and take the test whenever I really feel awake. In May I'll probably start taking a test or two during the week if I feel up to it since I usually get a second wind around 7 or 8. I wouldn't advocate doing more than drinking coffee or an energy drink for the LSAT though, it's long and boring but I have found that the more tests I take the easier it is to get through.

If you have a small bladder like me, keep in mind that if you drink lots of coffee before the LSAT you might not be able to make it until break time before needing to pee.

I wonder what it's like to be able to get more energy from consuming something. Caffeine knocks me out; if I drink an energy drink I'll pass out in minutes.

I might try some nicorette gum on my next PT to see how it feels.

Kinda serious...

I had an XL coffee w/ skim milk and splenda from Dunkin Donuts before each practice test and before the real thing. I also walked ~2 miles to the test center, which woke up me up and relaxed me at the same time. I walked before taking PTs as well.

ETA: These two things really helped me. I almost want to include it in my retake addendum (jumped 12 pts on second try).

My job involves a lot of reading too (contracts ugh) so after work my brain is fried and tired. I usually go to the gym at lunch and surprisingly it gives me more energy. Also I take gingko and ginseng pills. Not sure if they help but possibly the placebo effect plays a part.

I wouldn't recommend Adderall, just because it can definitely become addictive, especially if you're doing it with all of your practice tests. That's a sure-fire way to get an amphetamine addiction.

Yea, & it has tons of benefits beyond just instant energy.

Juicing a few times a week makes an insane difference in energy levels as well.

I go for a walk before each full length PT, but I only take them on weekends. I'm exhausted from work and taking care of my kid on the weekdays. On a weeknight I work on a specific section and/ or read through prep materials. My boyfriend takes the kid out on Sunday mornings so that I can do a timed PT. I usually have no problem working through the whole PT on Sunday.
