Top Law Schools

I'm interested in seeing lists of practice test scores from the few months preceding an actual test administration, in order to ascertain what level of variation in scores could be considered typical of a top scorer (170 or higher).

If you are willing to help, please include the dates and numbers of the tests and any other information you'd like to provide.

I scored a 174. My practice test averages would looks something like:
5 weeks before: 169-175
3 weeks before 172-177
1 week before 173-178

It's very true, but not harsh, except to people that are sensitive to the F-bomb. Super sensitive people that get offended and their panties in a wad because of the F word would not fare well in law school or as a lawyer given the adversarial and competitive nature it all revolves around.

So yeah, put in the time and effort to study and do the homework if you really want it. It never ceases to amaze me how much time many students waste talking about it and dancing around it rather than just sitting down with the books and getting to work on the materials.

One common diversion that many students do to avoid actual studying but count as study time is busy work making copies of tests, printing stuff out, making spread sheets, organizing and labeling everything in folders or however for hours, days and weeks rather than just sitting down with the materials, reading them and working questions. Pretty much doing anything and everything with the materials except reading and studying them. Although, spending a lot of time doing that type of stuff is a great way to train to become a paralegal in case law school doesn't work out, plus paralegals get paid pretty well. They just don't get the glory and ego boosting benefits or a chance at getting six figure+ retainers from clients (which most lawyers don't get anyway).

Yes most of the students do other stuff to avoid studying and count what they are doing as studying but not connected to the stuff they need to learn.. it is really hard to accept but its true....
