I am sure there are a million people on here asking this but I just wanted to get some thoughts. So I have an LSAT score of 168 with a GPA of 2.72 from the University of Michigan (thanks to the freshman an sophomore slumps) but was able to average a 3.5 the last two years. Do I have any chance at all of getting into law school? At least a semi-decent one?
I'm currently abroad teaching in Japan! Maybe that will help some.

Kudos on the GPA increase!
You can use http://www.lawschoolpredictor.com to calculate your chances at various law schools.
Maybe you can work the teaching in Japan into a personal statement. The admissions and chances forums would be a good place to ask questions, too:

I'll second the use of Law School Predictor, but with the caveat that they often have a hard time projecting for splitters.
Scour through Law School Numbers (LSN) for users who had comparable numbers. For starters, check out the following profiles that are similar to yours:

I'm was in a similar boat, I had a LSDAS GPA of 2.7 and my LSAT scores are 163 and then a 169. I had a different cycle as I was pretty much confined geographically due to my wife being in a graduate program, but you definitely have a fighting chnace of attending a good school (that said, I will be going where I wanted to go, with scholarship money).
I don't know where you are at in your life, but a retake and a score of 171+ would put you into WUSTL consideration (a top-20 school) as they are notoriously splitter-friendly. It all depends on where you want to end up after school.
Pour your heart into your PS and, if you have a good reason for your freshman and sophomore "slumps," explain them in an addendum.
Best of luck.
