Oh absolutely, I've spent a good amount of time in AC but I'm always a bit scared to get thugged at mid-high stakes games.

Prior to black friday I played online at FullTilt and PokerStars with some live tournaments (WSOP, WPT) mixed in. After black friday I played most of the time at Commerce Casino just outside of Los Angeles.

That's a pretty personal question TBH, suffice to say enough for 1L

Nice, dude. That was pretty much a fantasy of mine. I made a few grand cleaning up local games, but never went to casinos or put money online. I have always wanted to try my hand at it though. I miss playing a ton. Not much gambling at my college and my games back home have sort of tapered off in the last year.

As AE will probably attest, sitting at a casino is an entire different animal than playing with your buddies who always push all in with suited connectors. My UG was right near a casino that has 1/2 NL cash games with no rake, but you didn't want to go on the random Monday or Tuesday because that's when the serious players come out. That said, there were enough drunken idiots on weekends to make money off of if you were willing to be patient and sober enough.

I'm still not positive that's an indicator of anything. At least it was never mentioned when scores came out in June...
