Is it just me or has LR in PTs 60-65 have become difficult? Forum

The format seems cut and dry (ie - the usual type of questions), but I've noticed that:

* Qs 1-14 that used to be somewhat easy, have started to get harder;
* Qs 23-26 have become really difficult and time-consuming;
* Even the sub-#15 questions have become really wordy and verbose.
* In PT 60 and below, I would breeze through LR Qs 1-15 but in the PT6Xs I end up spending 3/4th of my time on these.

Am I incorrect in my observations and assertions?

Yep. I noticed this exact same thing today!

Normally questions 1 - 10 I can tear through. With the PTs in the 60s though I've had difficulty with ths.

Yeah. I agree. Others (outside of TLS) have sensed this as well.

A perfect example would be: PT63, Q8. The answer is B (and I can see why it is B), but on test day I could easily be swayed to pick A. It took me a long time to get answer choice B.

The LSAT isn't technically curved; it is scaled. I use the term "curve" as a misnomer, where I define the word "curve" to mean how many one can miss and still get a 170. Harder tests have more lenient curves, and easier tests have harsher curves. Based on historical data, the LSAT's curves tend to be cyclical. That is, the curve is harsh for a number of years, then lenient for a number of years, then harsh again, and so on (with a few outliers, of course).

I don't know what you are asking. It does not matter whether you got the easiest OR hardest ones right. You raw scores AND "scale" matters.

Even though the number of questions you missed is the SAME, the score will be different. If you get "-9" on 55 test, you get 170. If you get "-9" on 65, you get 170+(check the scale for test 65, if you need an exact score).
