How should I assign preptests?

I'm building my study plan for the June 2012 test, and I was wondering how I should use the available preptests with this method. How many tests should I dedicate towards 5 section tests versus single section practice or individual problem practice? I also want to leave a few extras in case I decide to take the test a second time.

Serious part: Take about 10 full tests. The point is to get the timing down, and to gauge test fatigue. Go through the rest of the PTs in sections to master the concepts.

Fun part (optional): Walk around the house totally nude to ease stress.

So is 10 full tests about as much as anyone needs? I don't want to be in a situation where I've done my 10 tests and realize that I need more practice but don't have any tests left because I've used them as un-timed practice problems.

Ten should be enough. By then you should have done a majority of the other available tests section-by-section. Use the more recent tests for the full run-through.

personally I am not a big fan of single section practice unless you are missing almost everything in that section! probably the best idea though would be to go through between 10-12 full through at minimum and then note if you need to work on endurance...

Are you saying that you're preferred method of studying is doing full tests? I realize that it's going to be like this test day but blocking off 2.5 hours is uncomfortable and hard to schedule. Also I'd want to review the test as soon as possible. That way I have a fresh memory of my incorrect reasoning when I review.
