Hi All,

In terms of filling out the LSAT score - on the LSAC applications, there's always a question that says:

1. Indicate dates you have taken or plan to take the LSAT.

If you've taken it twice, but only put in one score, is that fraud? From what I understand, some schools only need to see the highest score. Would that mean that all you need to do on this application question is put the highest score you have? In other words, is this question designed for you to self-report whatever you want? Or do you HAVE to put every score on this answer?

1. If you don't report them all:
Worst case--they think you're deceptive.
Best case--they don't care and see your official score report anyway.
2. If you do report them all:
Worst case--they notice you have a retake and see your official score report anyway.
Best case--they are happy you were forthright.

First option = Bad or neutral outcome
Second option = Neutral or good outcome

This question only asks for dates, not scores. Include all dates because LSDAS will report all scores to each law school.

you have to report all of them. Either way, LSAC gives all your scores to every school that you apply to, so it really isn't something that you can avoid

I don't think it's nice to call names or accuse you of something morally questionable without sufficient evidence.

Anyway, my opinion on your original post:

If the prompt states "ndicate dates you have taken or plan to take the LSAT", then I think it is clear that you ought to abide by what, according to commonsense standards, it is asking you to do; that is, to indicate all such dates.

I think LSAC only reports all scores from the last 5 years.

I don't think this is like a huge deal. I mean, the schools will get a report of all scores and they will obviously see the highest one. Everyone knows that schools really don't care about anything but your highest score anyhow.

The internet is the place where every Tom, Dick & Harry can hide behind a computer screen and talk smack on other people. In real life, they wouldn't have the guts to say these same things to people to their faces. This is all sad and very true.
