Does someone know all of the Prep Tests (either by date or Prep Test #) for which the LSAC provided explanations? I only know of the tests in "The Official LSAT SuperPrep" and "The Official LSAT Prep Test with Explanations Volume 1".

By the way, I just purchased your 7-month day-to-day study schedule about an hour ago. It's incredibly helpful!!! Thanks in advance for helping me get the top score! I also enjoy reading through all of the resources you provide on your blog. It's definitely the best blog on the internet. In fact, I find it more helpful than the Kaplan course in which I am currently enrolled. Actually, I stopped attending the classes three weeks ago since I did not find them very helpful. However, I am still using the online resources, which I do find useful. When I explained to Kaplan that I'm not going to take the exam until June, they were kind enough to give me access to the online resources until the end of February.

In any case, do you think it's worth purchasing "The Official LSAT SuperPrep" and "The Official LSAT Prep Test with Explanations Volume 1," even though I already have access to 66 Practice Tests and explanations from Kaplan? I am thinking of purchasing it in order to read the explanations from the LSAC. What do you think?

After reading the book recommendations on your blog a few days ago, I purchased the three Powerscore Bibles and "A Rulebook for Arguments." At that point, I had already purchased the Kaplan LSAT Advanced 2009-2010 edition, as well as "The Evelyn Wood Seven-Day Speed Reading and Learning Program" (even though I know not to incorporate the techniques verbatim on RC). I plan to incorporate all of these reading materials into your 7-month study schedule. Since I do not have any other obligations (neither work nor school) from now until June, I will study intensely and strive to get the top score. And I will make sure to attribute a large part of my success to your blog. Thanks!

YES! The explanations are excellent with in depth insight from test writers.

The Official LSAT Prep Test with Explanations Volume 1:
No, unless you just want a copy for nostalgia and as a collector item. It's been out of print for roughly 10 years. There are a few used copies still circulating around you might be able to pick up, but an unused copy is a tough find and will cost you more than it is worth. The explanations in it are not anywhere close to as detailed, insightful and good as the ones in the SuperPrep. Also, LSAC converted the test (February 1997) and explanations into the online ItemWise product you can purchase access to on the LSAC website.

SuperPrep is a great buy. As for the Official PrepTest with Explanations (Feb 1997), there are currently two used copies on Amazon for a little over $11 each.

Given all the time you have to study between now and June, if you really value LSAC's explanations, I'd suggest grabbing a copy now if you can. This ensures that you won't have to spend more on it later. The ItemWise version is much more expensive than these used copies, and you wouldn't get to print out anything from it. Even if these are slightly less detailed than the explanations in SuperPrep, LSAC's explanations are still useful and accurate, and there's nothing like getting it straight from the horse's mouth.
