Submit Apps then Retake, or Retake then Submit?

Hey guys,

I was pretty disappointed with my October LSAT score and wanted to retake in December. If I want to apply this cycle, is it best to submit my apps now--somehow indicating that I'm retaking--or hold of submitting until I get my Dec score?

Thanks!

You can do either. If you are taking the December LSAT and send in an application now, schools won't make a decision until after they get the score anyway.

Yeah, I'm in a similar situation. Do schools know you're registered for the December administration even if they have your Oct test score? And do they wait for the December score before making a decision?

I have been told in other threads that schools will hold off on processing your app until they receive the December score, but I'm still unsure if this is true.

That is correct.
