If money is not an issue then PS may be a good idea, but I would recommend you at least check out Manhattan, Velocity, Blueprint, and Testmasters. So as you can really see, you have plenty of options.
Also, have you considered using 'Pithypike's' guide on the LSAT thread main page because that could work.
For me personally (I had a 16 pt jump) I would recommend PS bibles or Manhattan and self study (It will save you a lot of money).... and if you take this route and you live near a law school or a large college it may be easy to find a private tutor for simple nuances that may keep troubling you; just make sure you are careful about who you choose ofcourse. This worked for me

Don't take the LSAT in December. Judging by your past performance - taking a full course and jumping six points - you will not hit your goal to raise your score by 10 points before December.
To be honest, general wisdom on this site advises against going to either of the schools you mentioned. The whole legal industry is hurting right now, and it is highly unlikely that graduates from schools in that range will find gainful employment. Really research schools, actual employment rates, and high levels of debt many students take on (and are unable to pay off or discharge), and reconsider if this is the path you want to take. If it is, set your sights significantly higher than a 3.12/150. It's a lot of work (there are no short cuts here, and even taking a course will require a lot of out-of-class effort to see results), but it is possible to see huge jumps in LSAT scores. Good luck.

My cold diagnostic was a 138. I then bought PowerScore's LR Bible and LG Games Bible. I self studied a bit and then took a prep course with TestMasters. After 3 months, I was PTing at 158-159. I'm still studying because there is a ton of room for me to still improve on. I'm aiming for at least a 170.

My dad is funding my education, so it’s free. I want to go to law school, but i'm not sure i will practice ( there are so many other things you can do with an J.D) ....But i have heard this before....My take on it is Hard work pays off... and yes I’m completely aware that I will actually need to study outside of class this time around. I'm going to try and take this test in Dec even if i only go up another 6pts... hey that will open more doors then last time....

you can do it. It will take a bit longer and a lot of work, but you can get into the 150s. give yourself plenty of time, and make sure to utilize all of the resources ( powerscore bibles, as many practice tests as possible, even perhaps a course).

Nah, outside of TLS, this is still a really common idea. I hear it all the time.

I did not even bother taking a diagnostic when I began studying because I figured it would have just been demoralizing in comparison to the final product. If I had taken one anyways, I probably would have scored a 140-145. I didn't know the underlying logic to the problems, and wasn't accustomed enough to them to do them quickly.
There is plenty of info on how to study for the LSAT on this forum - look through the 'advice to get 160+' thread, that helped me quite a bit. I'm still waiting on my score, but my median score on the last 20 or so PT's I took was a 176 I think. Learn how to properly solve all of the problems, then take boatloads of practice tests as you work down your testing time. Profit.
