late applications

Hi I am taking the December LSAT ( haven't taken one before ), so I would be able to apply for law schools only in early January. Is it too late to apply then? Do chances of admissions and/or scholarships significantly go down if I apply that late?

Yes, you will be able to apply in Jan.
However, applying late will hurt your chances for sure. Spots fill up early. You can still gain admissions with strong numbers, but weaker applicants are always better off applying early.
