TCR is C, although I chose A.

I narrowed my choices to A and C, but I chose A because both groups in the trial had individual counseling, so the difference was the yoga there. I guess the same would apply to C, in that traditional help groups are powerful, but the stimulus seemed to be focusing on yoga, so I thought an answer about traditional groups would be kind of irrelevant. Can someone shed some light on this, please?

Thank you!

A. is not a required assumption because it exists in both groups. Hatha yoga and Self-Help Group (isn't that an oxymoron) people both had individual counseling thus creating equivalency with regards to that aspect. The conclusion is that Hatha is a powerful tool, therefore the support given (that it is as effective as Self-Help groups) requires the assumption that Self-Help groups are also a powerful tool.

For instance, if this were a weaken question the answer could be something along the lines of, "Self-Help groups are generally seen as weak tools for helping people quit smoking", in which case the assumption would be false.

Hope this helps,

Best of luck!
