Oct '11 LSAT test-taker volume

I asked our proctor how this test's test-taker volume compared to June (at which, I understand, volume was down on an aggregate). He said this was by far the smallest turnout he had ever seen. His accented emphasis of "ever" implied a substantial history...
Anyone else hear along these lines?

Yes. We were supposed to have 29 people in my room but only 19 showed up.
Our proctor said he'd been doing it for 6 years and this was the smallest he'd ever had.

Very small amount here as well. Our proctor announced beforehand that not as many people want to be attorneys and everyone in our room was going to make a lot of money in the very immediate future.
My 5hr energy was running through me like bad chinese food so I really didn't give a rats ass what was said.

Well, took 45 minutes for people to get in my room, so I wished they stayed home.

June numbers were significantly down. LSAC will eventually post the actual numbers here:

I was actually surprised by the turnout at my test center. there were 50 people in my TC, and i live in the middle of nowhere.

Mine had about 1/10th the amount of people than were there in June, maybe less. It was a ghost town.

yeah, pretty small turnout here too. only 20ish people in the room and several were not permitted to take the test b/c they forgot their passport photo.
I'm only speculating, but that new passport photo policy probably ruined a lot of people's lives today.

I don't know how many tables were in my room, but they all had name cards on them (assigned seating) and half of them were empty. If I had to guess I would say there were 30-40 tables. We were half of the alphabet, not sure what the other room looked like.

same here. we had about 50 students in our room, and there were 2 other full rooms as well.
i took my test at university of hawaii, though, and there are only 4 administered per year in the whole state.

ummm...i don't want to sound mean but i don't think a passport photo would've been the reason they don't get into law school. you would've had to be blind or severely incompetent to miss that on the admission ticket.

Only 60-ish at my test center and proctor said there's never been less than 100 for October tests in the recent years. Only bodes well for admissions hopefully...

Yeah, I was really surprised by how small the numbers were. My test centre has several rooms, but mine only had about 20-30 people with many empty seats and the other rooms were similarly low numbers. Granted, I live in a large city and there are many test centres, but I barely saw anyone in the halls...

Also you could have printed out a photo on your computer.

We should probably also post our locations in this thread.
It was about 30 students in Statesboro, Georgia. Good luck to every single one of them because they all looked seriously WIRED for the test
