Oct 2011 games section

Ok i didnt see any other thread specifically about the games so I thought I'd start one...

overall, I found this one harder than june 2011 but easier then december 2010.

I didnt think that there were any REAL HARD games, like conferences in december 2010. however, there were no super easy ones like judges in june...

all of them seemed moderately difficult to me

i did them 1-4-2-3 but i guess i could have just as easily gone 1-2-3-4.

idk thoughts, opinions anybody?

I had two questions that hung me up, last one and one on game #3. Books pissed me off a bit, dunno why. Was tired and not properly warmed up. Had 10 minutes for last game, and went all the way to time with last question. -1, maybe -2. I feel -0 though. Think I got it.

I had 2 LG sections. Honestly, the test is a blur, but I remember one section had a game about summer/fall and ocean/ice-cap expeditions. Was this section the experimental, or did you guys all have this game? I remember the books game, but I don't remember which section I had it in.

This was my problem. I didn't take 20 - 30 seconds to try to see if I could see any inferences.

Sigh.

i dont think I made any inferences on the 3rd game... just plug and chug really... i realized half way through though that I think I made my diagram a little less efficient than it need be

lol yes. Seeing Kanye kept throwing my concentration off. Then my first LG section was the graded one. I figured as much since the experimental had some game types I hadn't seen before. Either way, I feel very confident with both sections. Thanks guys!

i thought the games were pretty hard. Not super duper hard but not the average games you see. Still pretty tough. Hopefully i guessed all the right answers!!

People say that bikes was the hardest, but I don't remember anything about it at all (not even that it involved bikes). Is that bad? I remember ambassadors and books, and nothing else. I had LG first, but its weird to have this blank spot in my memory.

LG is my worst section and I completely messed up the bikes game. Overall I didn't think it was a hard section, which makes it all the more frustrating.

I kept seeing Kanye too but I'm probably sure it was Kayne.

Don't worry too much about that. If you screwed up, you would be able to at least remember a game that held you up for an inordinate amount of time or a game that where you didn't feel at all confident about your answer choices. I hardly remember anything about the game topics, but that is because once I symbolize the rules and build a set-up, the scenario drops out of my mind almost completely. This probably just means that you effectively pushed things out of your mind as you moved on. You could have simply been hyper-focused.

Bikes was hardest question, imo.

The rest were manageable and kind of straight-forward, but Bikes I ran out of time and guessed on the last ~3 or so.

e: Or was that books... Christ. So exhausted.

Same here. I remember the 3 book shelves/ 7 books and 3 countries/5 ambassadors, but not a clue about the bikes. I am like thinking... did I do it? lol

fuck i'm glad people think this was harder than 63's LG.... I killed it, so hopefully we get a nice big curve... I didn't think Bikes was hard, just time consuming for sure....

i don't remember either of those either ha so i'm really hoping that is right! it was my first section and i don't think i did as well as i could have, which sucks coz LG is usually my strongest. all i remember is kanye and the book shelves..
