What is the main conclusion of #19, PT 63 Section 3

I feel that it is "any history book gives only a distorted view of the past"

I feel that everything else in the stimulus supports that idea.

Am I correct in that assessment?

I'd agree with you, but I wouldn't bet a lot of money.

But, as usual, the LSAT constructs the question in such a way that our geeky-nit-pickiness (which, Timmydoeslsat, you know is a compliment) doesn't matter. Regardless of which conclusion is the conclusion, the other one is part of a similar argument used to support the other.
