Highlighters?

I've decided that the visual advantage of a highlighter is worth wasting the 1 second to switch from highlighter to pencil once per RC passage.
However, I've heard people speculate that the ink would bleed through the sort of paper used for the actual test. Has anyone actually tried one out on the real test? How bad is the "bleeding" factor?

No idea. But it is that typical recycled test paper. You can probably find a couple things similar at half-priced books. Or, I think those sample tests that kaplan gives out for the june 2007 test are the same paper.

Thanks for posting this OP - I've been wanting to ask the exact same question. There were a couple of pretty old posts that said highlighters would bleed through to the other side of the page but hopefully somebody who recently took the test can confirm this.

I took in June and used a highlighter. It did bleed a little bit, but I didn't find it distracting or a problem at all. Just make sure you don't have a super inky highlighter and you should be fine.

bleeding is not an issue at all.

No idea if it would bleed through, but if it does, it would bleed through onto questions you've already answered. So probably not a big deal.

But then there's always right-page-of-LSAT booklet highlighting bleed leakage.

RC Passages are always on the left though. What could you possibly be highlighting on that side?
