Is it just me or does the 3rd game in a logic game set generally seem to be the hardest?

Just you.

Snakes and lizards (27) was game 2.
CDs (31) was game 2.
Stained glass (62) was game 2.
Balls (63) was game 4.

I think the general pattern is that the hardest games are 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.

Interesting. thanks for going through your tests to figure that out. I guess it is a bit subjective, too; what is hard or easy for me might not be the same for others.

Yea, I think the bitchiest games sections go: easy, hard, medium/semi-hard, easy.

This might just be an exception to that rule but I just did PT 57 games and for me it went:
1- easy
2- easy
3 - hard (toy dinosaurs)
4- hard but not as hard as 3

..

We did a study with this, having our instructors rate each game not knowing where it appeared in the section (I believe, I'm not 100% sure on the methodology), and the third game came out 'most difficult' on average, followed closely by 4.

I'd say 3rd game is where they would most reasonably crank up the difficulty the most, and here's why: they layout of the test (much like the content) must be able to measure logic and speed of even those who are not good at pacing their time and picking their games. so you must give an easy first game because you know that these people will do it first. as the test taker moves forward it will get harder and harder ideally, but LSAC is going to reward people who pick their target and play to their strength, and even those who are willing to skip, so it would be likely that they would make the 3rd game hardest then an easier fourth game. the LSAT is highly psychological, and knowing that you should do the first game first, then survey the rest and play to your strengths.

Balls wasn't that tough, but yeah, there's no correlation

I think its generally:

1. easy
2. medium
3.hard
4. easy - medium

but sometimes is:

1. easy
2.hard
3. medium
4 easy - medium


This is just how I remember feeling when I was studying.
