Strange progression please explain

So a little info on me... I'm a complete headcase who has a history of choking in big moments. I'm currently enrolled in an lsat class

so far three exams have been proctored

June '08 - 155 (cold)
Oct '08 - 164
Dec '08 - 164

Here's the thing, I wanted to see if my scores accurately reflected my ability so I took the Oct '10 test at home today, using the Powerscore virtual proctor

173 :o

is this a fluke, or is test anxiety to this degree real? Any advice on how to maintain this score (since i would be more than thrilled with this on test day) btw i'm taking the test in June '12

If we discount the cold score, we are left with a 9 point spread. I don't think that is so bizzare, is it?
I was testing on about a 7 point spread when I took.

I would guess its a fluke partially caused by the unrealistic testing circumstances.

So do you think i could get that in actual circumstances in 9 months?

If you are scoring in the mid 160s now, its definitely possible that you could score that in 9 months. 9 months is a lot of prep time.
