Early 90's logic games

So I bought a Powerscore book with practice logic games problems in it to help with my drilling. I got through the basic linear fairly easily; -1 or -0 on every game. After that I moved on to the advanced linear and OH MY GOD. All the games are from the early 90's which I have heard are harder, but I seriously can't even setup some of the games. Are these games supposed to be that hard? Any advice on where I can figure out how to just set up the games? I bought this book and made 3 copies of every game so I'm really trying to increase my LG score before October, but these games make it seem impossible.
Thanks

Post the identification of which games are giving you trouble and I will work with you in setting them up.
Some of them are most definitely different than games that have been appearing on recent tests, however, the concepts are still valuable in how they can pertain to games nowadays.

Thanks so much for everyones help. The games I am having trouble with are game #4 from June 1992 and game #3 from October 1991. Thats only so far. I really have trouble thinking through inferences such as, which one of the following could be true, CANNOT be true, etc so any extra tips would be appreciated. I also seem to have trouble when there are multiple variable sets and confuse myself on what to put as the base and just general setup stuff that should be easy. I am really trying to improve by the end of the month and know if I drill enough I can get there but these games are killing me right now.

Ugh, I cannot find those games on my computer. If you can PM the set up or email photos of them, I can help you.

You should try wearing flannel shirts and ripped jeans, and start listing to more Nirvana on your CD player for good measure. Also, when you are being sarcastic, end your sentences with "not."

Damn good food. Diane, if you ever get up this way, that cherry pie is worth a stop.
