I am PTing at 148-153 (40s and 50s PT).RC is my weakest sections and LG is my strogest.LR taken together is better than RC but worse than LG.In LR,its notthe any specific question type that I usually get wrong.Took the official LSAT in Dec 2010 with a pathetic 141.Registered to take the test again in Oct.Came across this website today./self.
I know I stand no where with this score and 3.5 GPA and shold not apply to T-20 with this score. But I took a month off to study my ass off.

I need some honest opnion.I won't give up trying though but a reality check might motivate me.

Here's a reality check: you should give up. If you got a 141 on the LSAT 8 months ago and you're still testing with 153 as your high-water mark, I don't see you ever getting a score that would let you into a school worth attending.

I hear Nova is going to take over the space law market.

If you're dead-set on becoming a lawyer, you really need to take your LSAT prep seriously. You're not going to be able to get a good enough score in October to go to a school that would be worth it - unless you're a URM - in which case a mid-high 150s score might be possible to get you into a decent school with a 3.5 (assuming this is LSDAS? If not, it could definitely go down, thereby reducing your one good characteristic.) Then again your PT's are hella low, that probably isn't even possible at this point. There's clearly something wrong with your study habits. Even if you say your best section is LG, I'll bet you're still missing a lot of those.
If I were you, I would take a prep course, make it your fucking life, and take the June LSAT. This would give you one final opportunity for October if you mucked that one up too.

Why did you take the LSAT before if you were not prepared? And if it had even the possibility of being that low, why did you not cancel? I'll never understand why people do this to themselves.

I've found a pretty interesting correlation among my classmates, anecdotal, of course:

Your LSAT score is directly related to your ability to do math.

Thanks all for replying.Last yr when I took the test I didn't realise the gavity of the situation I will get into with the pathetic score.I did take a 2 month course in late Feb this year. That helped me to understand LSAT more than just the 3 type of sections.

But I am determined to a lawyer and go to T-14 score. And I can't deny the fact that I need lots and lots of effort to put in.

I was curious to know if anyone who started as bad as I did ended up with an awesome score and made it to their dream college.

If this isn't a flame, you need to get your English skills in order before doing any more LSAT drilling.

NO. DO NOT GIVE UP! i think if you drill LG by type, and LR by type and do what you can for RC, then you take the latest 10 PTs timed with experimental section, you will score in the 160s come test day. this is my honest opinion.

what's your timeline for everything? I couldn't really understanding your op, are you wanting to test this October? You can definitely improve scores like that. Buy the bibles and get committed. Do not try to cram, this may work for some people, but not all. I honestly have no idea how some people can look at lsat stuff 5 hours a day, every day for a month leading up to the test. Buy the Lg bible and review it. It will be a pain at first. When i started on mine, i would start getting headaches like an hour in to it, but I would quit for a couple hours, or for the day, and try again later. But your brain, just like your muscles (i think i'm quoting power rangers when i say that "your brain is the biggest muscle of all") will adjust to the strain quickly. After a short time of getting used to thinking in a different way, you will be able to solve questions quickly. I can't really get into LR and RC advice. I just did enough pts that it started to click, but I still have LR troubles, I need to brush up on the Bible myself. But take it from me, I went -13 LG on my first LSAT, and I now I'm consistent at -1/-2. Go through the bible, and most importantly, make 3 copies of every game you have, buy the powerscore workbook for more games, shuffle them up, and drill like 3-4 a day. LG will soon become fun. I imagine that 7 year olds hate crossword puzzles because they can barely spell, but once you become more literate, crossword puzzles become fun, same concept with LG. Just get used to the material and make good gains.

I'm pretty sure the LSAT is only administered in English.

This is no flame.Even though it does appear like one.Its pathetic but there are few TLS aspirants who need lot more effort than others to get in but refuse to give up.

Lot of talking.time for studying.

I read the weakening question chapter from Powerscore Bible and did the questions from PT 28-29.
I scored 35/52 = 67% accuracy.
I think weaken Except questions are harder for me.
Is there a better way to target weaken Except questions ?

when doing those, every time you come across an answer choice ask yourself "does this weaken the argument to any degree at all?" and if the answer is yes, you cross it out. if you have a couple left and when it may not seem so obvious, be weary of the answer choice that discusses things in the argument and is relevant but doesn't actually weaken it, that is your correct answer. remember the incorrect answers may only weaken the argument very slightly, but that's all they need to be crossed out. hope this helps
