Difference between supposition and presupposition?

Which is also tied in with difference between supposing and presupposing.
Both are assumptions. However, on one LSAT question I was reviewing it asked what role the supposition "X" played in the argument. And "X" was something explicitly stated rather than assumed.
Thoughts on this?

"presuppose" basically means you take it for granted.
So, imagine this line of reasoning:
Teacher A will be offered a raise
So, teacher A will make more money
This presupposes that the teacher will accept the raise. When that wasn't explicitly stated.
Basically, the LSAT will test you to see if you catch holes in the reasoning of whatever you just read.
"Suppose" means a stated assumption

Thanks for that. So a presupposing is an assumption never stated, while a supposing is basically stating an assumption in the argument?

Yeah, pretty much. They just want you to be able to identify a hole in an argument.
