i took my first cold diagnostic test at a 144 (horrible i know). I signed up for a Powerscore virtual class, and received the 3 bibles. I study for about 1-3 hours a day (depending on my schedule) and have taken 4 practice exams (151,154,158,155). What are the chances of me getting up to the 160's by Oct first? any recommendations (study longer hours, more tests etc)? Thanks for all the help guys

You'll definitely want more practice tests. You can get them in official books of ten from LSAC on Amazon. I'd first concentrate on working through LG Bible- if you can master LG, you're off to a great start. You should also check outlsatblog. They have study schedules for all time ranges.

You can definitely improve by Oct 1, but you probably won't improve as you could in a little more time. Good luck!

thanks for the advice! i have around 10 more tests available that i plan on finishing before October 1st, is that enough? Is 1-3 hours studying a day enough?

It's not a matter of how much, but how efficiently you're studying. Focus on the sections that are most dragging your scores down. After every PT, don't just use it as an indication of where you are...review all of your answers 1-2 times, and drill the sections that didn't perform well on.
Yes, you can definitely get in the 160s.
