LR question

In regards to "relevance" of an answer choice in LR how do you go about eliminating incorrect answer choices? Do you compare certain parts of the answer to the conclusion/premises? Any specific examples is much appreciated. Thanks.

Are you talking about parallel reasoning? or scope of the answer?
