Burning Out

I studied three months for the June LSAT and with the beginning of June I have started again. My first practice test from a cold start saw my highest score ever, then after a week and a half of studying I received a score six points lower on my second practice test.
I have been doing well on time sections recently but my test the other day was significantly lower. My thought is I might be getting burnt out on too much practice and that a less is more approach might work. Anyone recommend cutting down practice time and just focusing a few timed sections a week and a test or two per week? Or is taking a few days off too risky this late in the game?
Thanks
