Congrats on the 170
Personally, I've started to do my PTs according to the SOS method (strictly timed, then untimed). Doing them untimed builds accuracy while doing them timed keeps me in tune with the time restraints that I'll face on test-day. Just make sure you eventually start taking some tests under strictly timed conditions so that you can gauge how you fare.

Congrats on the first 170 man!
It shows you are starting to understand how the LSAT works. I'm taking my first "untimed" tomorrow... I'll let you know how it goes.
Just to give my unprofessional analysis:
The LR's shouldnt be a huge worry, as those will naturally become easier, and consequently the time will become less of an issue. If I were you my largest concern would be RC. I would highly recommend the Manhattan RC strategy book -- I like it more than the powerscore one. It builds some nice intuition for how to attack RC.
And since you like untimed Ptests, here's what I'd recommend: Have 2 separate scantrons. Set your timer for 35 minutes, and take the section as if it were timed for real. Put a * next to any problems that you aren't 100% sure of. When the timer goes off, fill in the first answer key with whatever you have. Then, start a stopwatch, and finish the section and readress the problems you put a * next to. When you are done, fill that section in on your second answer key, and add your stopwatch time to 35 minutes.
This way, by the time you finish the Ptest you have a 'timed' and 'untimed' score, which is nice to have for comparison, and all from the same prep test.
This is beneficial, because as Foucault says, "Knowledge/Power".

I take a PT (only 4 sections) under the true timed conditions: 35 min/section. Even if I need a minute to finish that last LR question or something, I make myself stop when time is up. I do not score the PT or look at the answers. Instead, I erase any marks I made on the test and wait at least a few hours before taking that same PT again. This time, however, I don't pay any attention to time. I work through each section, taking as much time as I need for each question. I then score both (and record the raw/scaled scores in a spreadsheet, which I think is helpful).

Don't forget to do 5 section PT's when you're timed.
The 5th section might drain you on the real test if you don't prepare for it. (I actually practiced with 6 section PTs, and stamina wasn't an issue on test day).

Hm, I'd be a little worried about erasing and then doing the test again. But I guess if you're using the scantron sheets then you wouldn't have the answers marked on the actual test.
I thought about using 6 sections to build up my endurance as well. I'll probably start doing that toward the end of my studying.

Ok sorry but why people would claim a 170 is legitimate when they had unlimited time is beyond me. I could see if u did 38mins a section, but 50+mins. C'mon man.

Don't you think you should transition to timed sections/PTs soon? I know you have 2 months, but I feel like timing's definitely going to be an issue for you.

So you took 2? I think you should just to timed from now on if you can do it timed and score high enough.

Congratulations!
Interesting distribution of -1 on one LR section and -7 on another.
