Starting taking PTs to your actual score?


By that, I mean after you did your first diagnostic, after you read all the books and prep material.

When you got to the point where you were purely doing practice tests, how much did your score change form when you started to your final score/best PT score.

I think the better question is how much did your average score improve from when you'd been practicing for a while and took a course, to when you practiced more and more and more.

151-167 so 16 points

157 was my first without any prep. 174 was my PT avg. did 170 on the real thing.

I started taking practice tests about 2 weeks before the real thing and was scoring 170-172. I improved over those two weeks, and got 178 on the real thing. Highest PT 177.

That's what I was wondering,

Going from the time you started cranking out PTs, how much did your score improve past the initial improvement from LR/LG bibles and being familiar with the test basics.

I scored a 165 on my first timed test since reading the LG bible, with the only marked improvement coming from LG to get me from 157 (My cold diagnostic 3 years ago and same score on other Practice-LSAT I took early this year, practically another cold diagnostic) to 165. (-10 to -1 on LG)

I tried to read the Powerscore LR bible but I just do not like how they have it setup. Big disappointment after reading the LG bible by Powerscore. It was perfect.


Was hoping to obtain some sort of more realistic goal then I currently have (178) by going through about 40 PTs before the October test.

I know at the end of the day each person is different, but a sense of what you accomplished will help me evaluate what is conceivably probable.
