PowerScore class / Manhattan RC

Post by JustSomebody » Thu Jul 07, 2011 3:04 pm

There's a very similar thread below, but my situation is a little different since I'm actually in a PS class right now. Many people on this forum seem to say that Manhattan's RC strategy is far superior to PowerScore's. I am in the PowerScore class and we will obviously be learning the PS methods on the RC section. I'm worried that if this method isn't the best one out there, I'll do worse on the RC than I should. I'm very tempted to order the MLSAT RC guide, but since I will be learning the PS methods anyway, is this a bad idea? Will trying to learn basically two methods at once actually hinder me?

Learn both and figure out which one you like more?

I highly doubt the methods will conflict to the point that they 'hinder' you. I already worked through the RC bible and am planning on working through the Manhattan strategy as well.

Or just keep in mind as you take the powerscore class that there are other ways of attacking RC.
