Revised question, since I found completely conflicting information elsewhere on the 'net:
If I take the LSAT with extra time for a medical reason, will the law schools I apply to know that? I assumed that they would, but have heard from some sources that it is confidential. Please clarify......

I think "inability to segment posts into paragraphs" ought to be listed in the DSM-IV entry for ADHD.

In actual response to OP, you should probably get your diagnosis before you start worrying about getting extra time.

Have you spent a lot of time with Lawyers? Over half of them have ADD, that's why they are lawyers.

Don't be a wimp. I have severe ADHD and I took the test in regular time. The real world doesn't give a flying f*** about your brain function, and padding yourself now is setting yourself up for future failure.

Also, they do know you got extra time, and it will count against you. (This is not intended to be a factual statement)

in order to get extra time on the lsat I have been told you need to have proof that you have had it since childhood or young teen years and that it has affected your testing ability or you did not do well in school because of it. Supposedly you can not get diagnosed as an adult and then the same year take the lsat and get extra time. Plenty of people who have ADD or ADHD take the lsat without extra time. I believe it is quite a headache and difficult to get extra time on the lsat.
