160 Retake?

Post by Early Cuyler » Mon Jun 27, 2011 8:08 pm

After receiving my score today, I was disappointed to say the least. I prepped with Testmasters, and after the second diagnostic, I was scoring mainly in the 163-165 range with even a 169 on one practice test. I'm not sure what happened on test day, but there wasn't anything out of the ordinary that happened. I'm sure I already know what the answer will be: retake. I would be at the 75% mark for both GPA and LSAT score at the school I want to apply to, but I would like more assurance and money, and even the opportunity to attend a higher ranked school.

And if I were to retake, what would be the best way to do so? I have all my prep materials still with the tips and strategies to work through including a few sections and a couple diagnostics. Thanks in advance for any help.

Let's get in contact with each other, we are way too alike:

LR1 - 7
LG - 2
LR2 - 9
RC - 7

I bought the Manhattan RC book and the LR Bible right after sucking down a Jack & Coke after getting my score.

I am the opposite of you two. I miss 1-2 on the RC and LR, but bomb (-10 to -15) the LG. Those results are all with no study or practice.

I'd like to know if you guys started out with your great LG scores, or if you had to study them and practice them and gradually bring them up.

Thanks.
