ETA: I think you face two problems here. (1) finding good flashcards, (2) convincing your SO to do it.

For games: Flash cards with rules and symbolization, flash cards with game description and game type/diagram.
For reasoning: Flash cards with common fallacies.

Hm, well there seems to be some hope out there for the flashcards...maybe I dismissed them to soon and could improve them.

Right idea though.
Strip logic games. Whoever finishes the game last takes off one article of clothing.

I was reasonably prepared for the LSAT in June, and I was surprised at how my head felt almost in a fog during the reading comp due to the adrenaline.
Obvious solution here is to have your significant other dance around naked while you're doing reading comp sections.

They made it work in Legally Blonde (though that wasn't with a significant other, obviously).
Seriously though, I don't see how to get someone who's not intimately familiar with the LSAT involved in your prep. Since there's nothing to "memorize," per se, flashcards seem useless, and there's nothing you can really do without sitting down and staring at (and often making notes on) the page.

This might lead to strange situations on testing day

I think this would be the next step after studying in a library to get that little bit of a distraction most people prep for.

The cards do just really go over basic principles of the testing sections, though I feel like they're a little too basic for what I'm looking for and that's why I might consider modifying them. You wouldn't have to make sure that the other person was familiar with the test because the answers are right on the back already.

It's not very sexy, but what you can do is try to teach a question to your sig. other. Having to simplify the issue can push you to own it. I've learned a lot about this test by teaching it.
When teachers are auditioning for us, I usually recommend they try this.

Good point.
Get a secret geek love interest on the side for these purposes.
Wait, that's...

I think having to teach a question can help sometimes. It helps you to clarify what you are thinking by having to say it out loud in a concise way.

I don't get her directly involved, but I do give my girlfriend the answer sheet to whatever PT I'm taking to make sure that I don't peek. And then she grades it (so that I can't see what the right answers are) and I go back over the ones I missed, trying to pick out the correct response.

The best I ever got my SO involved was by having her choose the experimental section at random and acting as a proctor (kind of).

This is a little more involved, but getting your SO to familiarize herself with the entire exam and have you re-teach the question types/approaches to her. I mean it depends on your SO I guess. If she's really bright and has nothing to do, have her compete with you on question sets.

Not that this is necessarily relevant, but you might not want to get your SO involved. I got mine interested in the LSAT and then she went and beat me on the test by getting a 180. Now I can't really live that down or ever top it.

I know some people learn differently, but I think you should just sit down and study. No gimmicks. It's your cross to bear, not your SO's.

Also, I've been doing plenty of the sit and study as well. Just after I have been processing it'd be nice to be able to run all of the craziness I saw past someone.
