Re: International Test Takers!
FML. Score was 5 points below my PT average and 3 points below my lowest PT (exluding cold diag). And a retake would mean flying to hong kong.

Yeah. Wow. Thought I was going to Harvard.
We'll see how they feel about 3 scores. blah.
I really doubted that I got below a 170 though, as I don't remember scoring that low on any PT since practically my diagnostic.
Maybe should I ask them to check my scantron by hand?

171 is nothing to complain about, congrats. You should be pretty happy with that score even though you PT'd a little bit higher. 171 will get you accepted by plenty of good LS'sds.princess wrote:is that even a possibility? Yeah, I'm from Australia so I don't have it as tough as you guys who learnt English as a second language (I can't imagine taking the LSAT in any of the other languages I've learnt so I really am incredibly impressed by ESL takers).mjitbswyd wrote:Wow, that's so cool! Now I just need to write my personal statement (Ugh!). Hopefully my score will motivate me to get it done haha.

Re: International Test Takers!
I may ask them to hand check it. Oh well. It's too ironic and hilarious though, I need to re-take.
I had a 157 (Really didn't fell well should have canceled.) Then, a 167. And now, here's to a 177 in October.
Congratulations everybody!!!
Anyone retaking?

Re: International Test Takers!
Ugh. Really didn't want to retake, but my cold diagnostic was 160, and then the next test I took after studying for was a 169. And I just got a 166. I really didn't think I got below a 170, was preparing myself for a 168 or 169.
To make matters worse, 166 is like just under what I need for a solid shot at UT. And a retake would mean flying to hong kong during Chinas national day break, when vie been planning a trip to Nepal to visit a friend.
I PTed at 177 and 180 the week before the test. Honestly, I think I could resign myself to u of h before letting it stand at a 166 when I know it could be a 176.
But F*CK I don't want to retake.

I hear ya. I was planning on doing traveling this summer, too. Bye bye travels. Hello LSAT. Well, maybe you will feel differently after a few days/weeks have passed.tdicks wrote:Ugh. Re: International Test Takers!
tdicks, maybe you can look at the upside? maybe you can make traveling to HK a trip? go to HK, take the test, have your friend go with you and party hard after the test? that wouldn't be so so terrible right? where are you now?
Is everyone retaking oct and doing the 2012 cycle?
