im doing the last few prep tests, and there seem to be a new type of question, that asks you to find an alternative rule to an original one that would have the same effect.
does anyone have a good, reliable way of going about answering this?
i've been usually selecting AC's that seem to produce the same exact big inference as the original rule, but i think you could also just use the past hypotheticals to see if the new rule would render any of them invalid...

+1
I think I might stop using Google and just send my search queries directly to Kurst.

The best way I know to answer these with 100% certainty is to prove "(original rule) if and only if (answer choice)" is a tautology. This is certainly not reasonable in the time crunch of a live LG section, however, especially if you aren't intimately familiar with doing such proofs.
