Which one first? Stimulus or Question Stem

The majority of the test prep companies recommend reading the stimulus prior to the question stem. I know this has been asked before, but let's get some new insight on this...
When working through the LR section, which do you do? Have you tried both?

Why the "new insight"? Did something change?
Stimulus first, always.

I just don't get it. You do different things for different questions so why not know what you're being asked to do before you do it?

This is exactly my thought. I am able to answer questions VERY quickly when working through the LR Bible because I know beforehand what I am looking for.

For me, reading the stimulus first is the best way. LR is my weakest section, so I've tried both. If I read the stem first, I end up spending more time per question.

ETA: I switched from stim first to stem first halfway through prep. It didn't affect my performance at all. I switched back and forth a few times. I think I used both methods on the test. Whatever works for you is TCR.
